I was born and grew up in Poland, raised in a family of non-musicians early on I was spotted by a music teacher as 'the singing child' and invited to join a music school which started the adventure of my life.

I immediately chose violin and never regretted it. After 14 years of music education in Poland I decided to spread my wings abroad studying in the Conservatorium of Maastricht, followed by a second master studies in the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, where I finally fulfilled my dream specializing in early music.

In 2018 I discovered instrument building after a visit to the Centrum voor muziekinstrumentenbouw in Puurs, where I chose lute making for its historically-informed approach, close to my heart through early music. After gaining a good base of woodworking skills and confidence, I felt ready to add studies on violin making and paved myself a path to the construction of baroque violins.
